Accushield Integration Setup

What is the Accushield/ALIS Integration for?

This integration is a nightly transfer of staff and resident CSV files from ALIS to Accushield. This allows us keep track of resident and staff information in ALIS without having to separately update Accushield. This prevents us from having to maintain the records separately in both applications.

What is Accushield?

Accushield is an application that provides senior living communities with the following tools:

  • Staff and visitor sign-in
  • COVID-19 screening questionnaire
  • Staff and visitor temperature scanning
  • Printed health-verified name badges
  • Visitor analytics and reporting

Set up the integration with your onboarding manager

It is necessary for your onboarding manager to create and enable this integration. We can coordinate with Accushield directly to map communities. We will verify that community codes match between Accushield and ALIS.

Staff record numbers and phone numbers must be exported from Accushield and imported to ALIS. Without these numbers matching for each person, they will not be able to login to Accushield.

Test the staff data sent from ALIS to Accushield

Staring with one community, verify the following after the first data transfer from ALIS to Accushield:

  1. No duplicate staff records
  2. New staff added in ALIS are appearing in Accushield
  3. Staff discharged from ALIS are removed from Accushield
  4. Verify that staff are not having trouble logging into ALIS or Accushield

Test the resident data sent from ALIS to Accushield

With the same community, verify the following after the first data transfer from ALIS to Accushield:

  1. No duplicate resident records
  2. New residents added in ALIS are appearing in Accushield
  3. Residents moved out in ALIS are removed from Accushield
