5.9 Release Information
ALIS 5.9 was released Monday, September 14th, 2020 at 12 AM CST.
This release will result in downtime lasting between 30 and 60 minutes, taking place overnight on Monday 9/14 at approximately 12am CST.
Please plan for this downtime and inform your staff. If you have any questions on how to handle this downtime, please contact the Support Team at support@medtelligent.com or your account representative.
Reminder! We recommend using Google Chrome for ALIS. This is especially important for the newer features. Other browsers will not work as well.
COVID-19 Center for tracking Isolation and Testing
-New page allows us to document Isolation or Quarantine schedules and COVID-19 tests and results.
-Information can be submitted in bulk and for multiple residents at a time, exported to printer view and Excel, and create Observation notes.
-Customize “Isolation” or “Quarantine” language.
Vitals Enhancements
-In the Med Pass, any vitals checks will now display the last three records. This allows us to quickly notice changes in resident vitals!
-We can now turn on a setting for broad boundaries on the vitals to prevent any mistaken submissions with extra or missing digits.
-In Bulk Vitals, we can turn on the ability for staff to add notes.
Enhanced Meal and BM Tracking
-Utilize the option to show the most recent outcomes from Care Tracking to notice any patterns.
-New Care Item setting to create an Observation Note to help communicate the recent outcomes!
Billing Enhancements
-Proration settings can be changed to calculate based on 365 days of the year instead of the number of days in the current month.
-Aging Details and Aging Details by Payer reports are now optimized to run faster! We also have a new filter to exclude transactions that are not exported to the GL.
-Updated Impact Review for Credits. New Impact Review available for Discounts!
More Improvements
-New ability to destroy discontinued medications that were part of the Drug Count!
-New Medication Change report and alerts provide more specific information about order updates.
-Longer character limit for Prospect Task Notes.
-Prescription and Refill Information added to Medication List report Excel file.
–On Leave and Move Out options on Resident Profile are now split to different buttons and can be granted as separate permissions to your staff.
