ALIS Release 5.0

Enhanced Mobile Care Tracking in ALIS!

ALIS 5.0 arrives on Monday! Going Live on August 26th, 2019 at 12am CST.

This release will result in TWO separate instances of downtime lasting between 30 and 60 minutes. The first downtime is to install upgrades on the ALIS servers to ensure security and performance. The second is to release the updates covered in this email.

The first one will take place overnight on Monday 8/19 at approximately 12am CST.

The second one will take place overnight on Monday 8/26 also at approximately 12am CST.

Please plan for this downtime and inform your staff. If you have any questions on how to handle this downtime, please contact the Support Team at support@medtelligent.com or your account representative.

Reminder! We recommend using Google Chrome for ALIS. This is especially important for the newer features. Other browsers will not work as well.

NEW Look for Care Tracking and Record Care!

-A more streamlined view for care staff to access their tasks is now available. And it’s optimized for mobile!
-Recording the completion of care tasks and adding notes is easier than ever.

Informational Orders Revamp

-Now you can add contacts other than Physicians as the prescriber—add a Nurse Practitioner, Physician’s Assistant, or any other medical prescriber!
-Notice the new look when you add or edit Informational Orders on the Manage Orders page

Additional updates:

-New Medication Audit History within Manage Orders—vastly more details display in the history when orders are edited.
-In your My Account page, you can set up all the details of your own alerts (Dashboard, Email, and SMS Message).
-All PRNs available on a resident’s chart will now display on historic MARs.
-We updated the view for adding order quantities to the Drug Count.
-Updates to the ALIS Evaluation PDF to allow it to print fewer pages!
